Grading Requirements
All student work will be graded on a 100 point system – 100 points being “perfect.” Students will be given a letter grade with the following equivalencies:
A 90 – 100
B 80 – 89
C 75 – 79
D 70 – 74
F 69 or below Failing
In addition to the letter grade, Gateway faculty will provide the students and parents’ extensive written comments and feedback on several aspects of the student’s learning, social development and peer interactions. Because the school places a substantial value on the Student Code of Courage each student’s attitude toward their peers and the faculty, personal effort, and contributions to the life of others are also evaluated
