Annette Stevenson has been named the school’s Coordinator. She has more than 20 years experience in counseling and special population services in several Texas independent school districts as well as charter schools. While at Starr Charter School in Austin, she implemented a comprehensive program of counseling and guidance to support the learning of all students in Grades 1-12. She also served as the school’s admissions counselor, College Board representative, Advanced Placement Coordinator and National Honor Society Sponsor. Prior to coming to Gateway, she was an academic and special education consultant with John H. Wood Charter School.
